FAQ

How can the results of the periodical monitoring of measuring equipment be used?

These results can be used to optimise the monitoring intervals and to improve the command of the quality assurance system.

Irrespective of the measuring equipment in question, a systematic comparison process, conducted at regular intervals, must prevent any deterioration in the quality of the measurements and establish their credibility over time. Readers can refer to "Surveillance des processus de mesure" (Monitoring of measurement processes) and "Optimisation des périodicités d'étalonnage : la méthode Opperet" (Optimisation of calibration intervals: the Opperet method) published by the CFM.
