I use several temperature sensors with a single readout. Should I calibrate just the sensor or the sensor and the measurement chain?
The most reliable method consists in calibrating the assembly comprising the sensor and the readout. Another approach consists in electrically calibrating the indicator, then checking each individual sensor to make sure that they meet a given specification (MPE), in which case they can be considered to be interchangeable.
